According to a statement issued by the Saudi Arabia Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, international pilgrims will not be allowed to come to Saudi Arabia to perform the Hajj this year due to the threat of Corona. People living in Saudi Arabia will be able to perform Hajj on a limited scale. Muslims belonging to different nationalities in Saudi Arabia will be able to perform this sacred duty this year.
The statement added that the decision was taken to ensure that no one's health was harmed during the Hajj. During the Hajj, all necessary security measures will be taken with regard to Corona and social distance will be ensured.
It is believed that for a long time there were fears that the Hajj would be canceled due to the corona virus, but now the Saudi Arabia government has announced a limited number of Hajj permits, which is very good news for Muslims.
