Third day of protests in the US state of Minnesota

The third day of protests against the killing of a black man by police in the US state of Minnesota, in which angry people set fire to several vehicles and dozens of properties.
The riots in Minnesota were sparked by the killing of 46-year-old George Floyd in broad daylight.


Protesters vandalized and looted shops, forcing local police to shell, while the governor of Minnesota called in the National Guard to quell the riots.

Demonstrators said that white police officers have an open exemption and they are still killing black people on the streets like slaves.

Several stores in Minneapolis were closed to prevent riots and looting.UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Michelle Bashalle said the United States should take strong action against police officers involved in the violent killing of a black man and bring those responsible to justice.
